congrats

congrats to her for winning silver medal. She could have won Gold easily but hardly saw smash from her. During entire game she smashed only 3-4 times even though she is tall. This is her weakness and and she has to improve on this. The only difference between two players was smash. Anyway good job.

Well done Sindhu
by M IYER on Aug 20, 2016 11:09 AM

I saw the match, every point of it and would say, Sindhu was fantastic....only thing which allowed MArin to win was her experience and discipline. But, she also would accept that, Sindhu is the one she will be wary of from near future. Marin was just discipline personified in the fact that, she did not allow high backend wollies for Sindhu to jump and smash which is her favourite and she ensure that she moved her to all the opposite corners to sap Sindhu. But, Sindhu's effort was just valient no doubt about that. Congrats, we are really proud to follow u...Sindhu

DON'T BE SHOBHA DE - -

And there were some FOOL criticizers who

tags FIGHTERS AS CHOKERS .

There is absolutely no remorse whatsoever if a new player loses to world number one & defending champion in semis or finals like Shrikant or Sindhu lost .

NOW SHOULD WE CALL SINDHU ' A CHOKER '??

OR SAY THAT HER SLIVER IS A FLUKE ??

BOTH SINDHU & SAINA HAS ACHIEVED LOT IT BADMINTON .

It was Saina who first started defeating Chinese girls ( Let it be in any tournament ) & Sindhu continues her trend .

Otherwise China dominated this sport since decades .

As I mentioned earlier ' It takes tons of efforts to represent your country at Olympic level ' . Its not at all easy . Each player has to put daily 14-16 hrs of hard work to reach that level .

No matter whether they win medals or not 'LETS SUPPORT & RESPECT THEM '

NATION SALUTES SINDHU , SAINA & SHRIKANT .

( In fact to entire Indian players at Rio )

Tremendous

Tremendous achievement by Sindhu! There is no shame in losing to a champion like Carolina Marin. Sindhu is still only 21 and will have a couple of more shots at the Olympic gold. She should start working towards gold in 2020!

Hats off to Gopichand for producing such world beaters in badminton. His dedication & hard work is the answer to Saina's accusation against him, that he needs to give me more attention.

A tweet or an SMS from Saina congratulating Sindhu will be more sportsperson-like!

Please don't create unnecessary negativity. Saina and Sindhu have both won great laurels for the country. Let's just rejoice for Sindhu's medal and appreciate both players for giving their best for the country. Let's leave the negative stuff for Shobha De.
