I wish that her father's prediction will come true. But the moment her match against Marin started, it was clear that Marin was a notch above Sindhu- so all credit to Sindhu for having gone beyond her best. The difference between them was the strong wrist-work of Marin. After a down the line drop from her back hand, Marin repeatedly hit a deceptive cross-court semi-smash. As of now, Sindhu cannot match her speed and wrist-work. One can only hope she can work on these areas.

One must not forget that Sindhu is emerging from the Junior ranks. She is 21 while Marin is 27 Sindhu's game is still developing while marin already has an all round game and experience.
