Your never-say-die attitude is most impressive. Never mind your defeat to Marin, the best player on the day.

Sindhu, you made the whole India proud and it's incredible to note that an entire country prayed for you all the way through.

Your hardwork and fierce determination deserve rich accolades. Enjoy your success!

HOW TO HANDLE TENSE SITUATIONS
by Shilpa Mehta on Aug 20, 2016 01:42 PM  | Hide replies

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC DISPLAY BY SINDHU

I such high pressure matches mental toughness is very important . One who remains COOL & POISED has greater chances to win .

The moment you loose your temparament & become tense you are bound to commit unforced errors .
Obviously , pressure will be on both sides but the one who handles is efficiently emerges victorious .

If we analyse yesterdays game , unforced errors made by Marin was comparatively less .

TAKE SOME LESSONS FROM OUR CAPTAIN COOL .

THE ICON OF HANDLING PRESSURE SITUATIONS .

MSD THE GREAT .

Never saw someone handling tense moments so perfectly .

.

expect the unexpected!

before the start of olympics all eyes were on one girl called saina. but she lost to player ranked above 60!.
no one gave sindhu chance.though sindhu had tough draw, she never cared for it. gopi was very clear 2 good games and medal is ours. she beat tough players such as tai zhu whom saina has never beaten recently.she has surpassed all our expectations.
she is humble and down to earth evident from fact after the match she picked opponents racket and placed it properly.
she got Gold medal from our heartsfor only that act.
well done sindhu you are true Kohinoor of india.

mr Dhantannan, learn how to remain humble from Sindhu and stop criticising other top player Saina Nehwal just out of personal enemies and jealousy and write every where adverse comments about her. You go through her achievements and if go through her record with non bias and clear mind, you will if not give any respect to her but definitely stop writing nonsense against her.

hi Sindhu, I watched both semi-final and final matche yesterday. You were awesome through out the game. When I saw the first set, how you fought at the end and got points continuously and you won. I could see the height of your confidence. I thought you would carry on the same level of confidence in the second set and win the gold make a history ever. But no problem we are proud of you. I salute you for the excellent spirit of sportsmanship you showed yesterday at the court. I had tears in eyes to see your temperament and moment of achievement. Keep it up. You have a great future ahead. You set an example to so many young people of our nation.
