SRIKANT AND SINDHU POISED TO BECOME NO1 IN THE WORLD.
by damodaran mohan on Aug 18, 2016 05:54 PM

The way Sindhu is playing it will be a big surprise if she loses.I have not seen the spaniard play in Rio but among others-chinese,japs etc. she looks the best and with little bit of luck could get India the first Olympic gold.At this level prediction is impossible the way Srikant lost to Lin Dan.If only Srikant had played the last 3-4 points more patiently possibly the story would have been different. But don't be surprised if Srikant attains no.1 rank in the world in the next 2-3 yrs. The fearless attacking game he plays irrespective of opponent he certainly has the potential.

curious case of sindhu
by Dhantannan on Aug 18, 2016 05:15 PM

saina has never beaten li xuerui or tai zhu ying in past 4 years!. in fact she dreads facing them.
sindhu comfortably beats these two speaks volume about her ability.

THE CURIOUS CASE OF INDIAN WOMEN
by yogesh shinde on Aug 18, 2016 04:09 PM

MAYBE, INDIAN WOMEN SPORTS PERSONS COMPETE AGAINST MEN IN OLYMPICS.
This thought came to my mind looking by the way Indians celebrate a Indian female athlete's victory in Olympics.

INJURY & VICTORY & FLUKE
by Shilpa Mehta on Aug 18, 2016 02:19 PM  | Hide replies

If a player wins a match OR gets medal

due to injury to his /her opponent ( Like

yesterday Vinesh Pogat conceded the match due

to injury OR Saina got Bronze medal in

2012 Olympics due to injury to Chinese

opponent ) is not at all the fault of the

player who wins . Does she asked the

opponent to get injured ?? NO - THEN ??

It clearly indicates that injured player

is incapable of maintaining required fitness

to compete at international level . It is

his /her fault .

And the winning player's win is always considered as HARD EARNED VICTORY & IN NO WAY CONSIDERED AS FLUKE .

And due credit is given to winner .

Saina gleefully accepts medals when opponets injured but complaints the same when she looses due to injury as an excuse.
The fact is she spent time endorsing commercials, social networking without serious goal. she completed just for sake of sponsors.
just see the dedication from sindhu.

indhu - saina
big matchplayer - wins only useless super series
humble - arrogant, demand awards

smashes chinese - fears li xuerui and tai zhu ying

Mr Dhantanan, is there any reason for this bias tirade against both players mentioned above ? What you know about sports except having adverse remarks like Shobha De
