dipa you have shown and given a inspiration to many females to take this sport as career. like shuttle, tennis, weight lifting, boxing now then can look for gymnastics too. great dipa taking India into another sport. you missed bronze but won the heart of all.

Our motherland Hindustan is undoubtedly feeling so happy and proud to have daughter like you....I watched each and every moment of your performance at finals...I prayed for your best performance to happen which actually happened too...winning medal was obviously what you deserved and everyone prayed for however incidentally it couldn\\\'t happen..., I think the only message from this event is that you are made for GOLD and not for a bronze...So I sincerely wish for your Golden success at Tokyo in 2020....Jai Ho!!!

Fully agree. I would suggest that (i) PM should invite her for a cup of tea; (ii) grant sufficient stipend for her continued training at Govt. expense, and (iii) get her some job to sustain herself and family. The same goes for similarly placed athelets. This would encourage them.
