Bravery and Honesty
by rick bhar on Aug 15, 2016 04:19 AM

At least she was honest to say that she got injury before the Olympics...many cricketers were used to play unfit just for money and they never revealed..we never know she may have thought her injury will become well by time but it did not happen so its not her fault...at least she was honest to tell the truth in front of entire nation..not like money minded cricketers who only rules the sport in this country but no body have any guts to tell the truth to nation (except Sachin..even Sachin has played with injury and won matches)...how much politics is there in sports that country hasnt produced other Saina..even if Saina had told about the injury before was there anyone who could win medal in bedminton..Saina was brave enough to play with injury and honest enough to tell to entire nation..

Excuses

Saina played at the Australian Open, with strapped knee, in June recently & won. Then she did not cite any injury coming in her way to victory. She repeatedly cites injury, bad umpiring, favoring her oppenents by refrees forher losses. She was seen taking selfies with Novak Djokovic, Katie Ledecky, & Lin Dan.

Sina Nehwal's exit.

Players of repute should be honest particularly when they are competing at olympic level. When she suffered injury just before beginning of olympics she should have withdrawn from the competition gracefully. After losing statements such as "played with heavy strapped does not augur well. Luck does not favour everytime.

iF ANYBODY IS ARROGANT, IT'S YOU Dhantannan
sAINA has achieved many milestones in badminton for India. She is the only Indian to have won medals in all of the BWF major individual events, namely Olympics,BWF World Championships, and the BWF World Junior Championships. She is the only Indian badminton player to have won an Olympic medal, along with being the only Indian to have won the BWF World Junior Championships or to have reached to the final of the BWF World Championships.[12] In 2006, sAINAl became the first Indian woman and the youngest Asian to win a 4-star tournament. She also has the distinction of being the first Indian to win a Super Series title. At the2014 Uber Cup, she captained the Indian teamand remained unbeaten, helping India to win bronze medal. It was India’s first medal in any BWF major team event. Saina surely knows her responsibilities and doesn't need an endorsement from you.

A brilliant, universally accepted player does not need to give any excuse. What she stated was a fact.
