is she the best archer we have in india???
I seriously doubt that.
I seen all the quarterfinals yesterday and she was the worst performer from remaining two girls we had.
And now she blames the weather. Bad loser...

Excuses
by Vaidyanathan Iyer on Aug 08, 2016 02:06 PM

India had a healthy lead and threw it away to go into the shoot off. Conditions were bad for both the teams, to loose from a position where they should've crushed the Russians :( Laishram was the best throughout all the matches, the other two were missing their targets consistently.

Participating in olympics is itself a big thing for us. A good govt. job is waiting for you.
Miracles do not happen in olympics with Indians.

Cricketers are our true heroes!
by nisha thoas on Aug 08, 2016 12:08 PM  | Hide replies

This is precisely why a billion of us adore our cricketers. They have talked less and brought glory to the nation in the form of world cups, no1 ranking and world batting records! And when they lose, like the t20 semis against windies despite actual badluck, they gave credit to the opponent and never blamed nobals and things like that. Thats where you earn respect. In contrast, too much hype around all these guys, and hockey players. And then leander paes, who only wants to set records in appearances but not winning actual stuff. If top players in tennis like nadal can arrive well in advance and practise, what is stopping our so called heroes?Really thankful we have cricketers who have brought glory to the nation time and time again!

Bad carpenter quarrels with his tools
by vsd_pune on Aug 08, 2016 11:50 AM  | Hide replies

I am not as much disappointed by loss of women's team as much I am disappointed with the excuses offered by 'the legend'Deepika Kumari. I was following the game yesterday on TV and was dismayed by the pathetic perfordmance of Deepika Kumari. Anybody could have felt that she was the weakest link among the three. Other two were really performing well consistently only to be pulled down by Deepika Kumari's performance.
