out of 205 nations participated in Rio Olympics, only 87 countries have won one or more medals (maybe it is gold/silver/bronze) and our country is standing on 67th position. When taken into consideration the performances of nations standing @67 out of 205 is very much above average. And this was possible only by two female contenders. Thank you Sindhu and Sakshi for your efforts in turning tremendous hardship and hope of 130 crores of nations into a Silver and a Bronze medals. When we compare how many women contenders won medals nation-wise, i think we are standing at no.19. This could be the biggest achievement indian history where india is improving a lot a moving ahead of male participants. Hats off to you

do you think countries like algeria or ethiopia or fizi provide facilities and infrastructure better than india? no. Hats off to these two ladies but we just not competent enough for these games. we don't have that power and guts.
If India wants to improve its performance, they should spend a 1000 cr. sending our top athletes to USA for 3-4 years before next Olympics. That will also prevent charges of doping. When CWG could cost us 30000 cr. with major portion going to politicians, this investment is nothing.
Kindly encourage all RIO Olympic player. Every player wants to win but only 1 can win..the main thing is to participate in games..this time definitely we are getting any medals till now but hope for remaining games...so kindly keep in faith...

The so called winnable sportspersons brought no medals. Whom it was least expected, brought medals and laurels to the country. we can not expect who will perform at the big scene. Let the qualification take its own roots. let us give importance to sports from young age by encouraging our kids to take up sports instead of only marks. Then we can see more medals to our country
