All these sports bodies, federations and many times players themselves have reduced the sports in this country to a farce. They have made it in to a racket wheech reeks of corruption, favouritism, nepotism, one up manship, politics of lowest kind and all other attendant ills. No wonder barring few mot of our players perform below par on crucial stages. Their is no system in place and meritorious, talent individuals have to go through the grind to get noticed> many times they get frustrated and leave. And we have let administration and decision making of various sports bodies in the hands of vested few few run it as their fiefdom. Look at BCCI as well. What to say about sports in this country? genuine sportsmen and women are neglected and these sports bodies are flourishing. And no body wants to correct this malaise.
