If Milkha singh feels that a 10yr old knows what an olympic is then why was a film made on him. Why he had to make a Bollywood film on him. someone cud have made a non bollywood documentary on him. Everyone likes to show larger than life on silver screen. Appreciate what Salman Khan has done and will be doing.
No one needs any publicity for Olympics even a 10 year old would know about that. Milkha is very right, that have any of film boards have ever had any Scientist or Sports personality or an Entrepreneur or any other personality other than Politician or a Film Star? While this is so, how a Sports Ambassador can be from a film fraternity? Unquestionably, Salman should be replaced with the likes of Milkha or PTUsha or performers from Olympics game. It is a shame for Hindustan and a film personality have only spoiled the lives of million leave alone contributing to this nation.
such persons with track record of killing people with senseless driving. Person who do not respect country law and have been killing protected animals should never be a representative of Country.
salman is known for a hero of film not a real hero duo to media and marketing he a too much famous as earn money but if some real hero of sports personality then it will be a better and good and real selection.

shows how bankrupt the selection committee. They are good for entertainement not for the purpose IOC has selected. All the sportsman are true n justified here.
Sports Player are bigger celebrities then Bollywood star for Example Dhoni, Sachin, Sania, Shushil Kumar & many more are brand ambassador of many brand their own sports need brand ambassador from Bollywood is insult of sport player. Salman should immediately remove as brand ambassador or IOA .
Ha, ha, Let's now make Salman the President of India. The post is going to be vacant soon. A country gets the Ambassador and the President it deserves.
Why he didn't oppose his own movie ? Why he allowed Farhan Akhtar to act in his movie ? Just because he got immense publicity worldwide & many people that didn't even know him started to know him & his achievements.
He & Yogeshwar had also acted in brand commercials , why they did it ? Are they in anyway related to TV or Film industry ? Absolutely NO. They did it purely for money.
Then, if Salman is doing this without taking a single rupee, then what is the problem ??? If anything, it's only going to increase the popularity of our players in Olympics & more & more people will come to know about them.

Hahahaha...Good Joke...How many politicians which are active in Indian politics today don't have any charges of crime or murder or corruptions or instigating riots on them ? Still they are representing India or a state or a city. What is your say on that ? How are we allowing them to dictate & rule us ?
Salman Khan is proven clean & had been acquitted from all the charges by High Court so you can not call him a killer.
If that is the case then every politician is the killer in this country......
No one does even 1/4'th of the social work for the needy children/people than what Salman do through charity & social work. He is one of the highest income-tax payer in the country and not like the hypocrite Amitabh Bacchan who thump his chest to show that he is a Deshbhakt but in reality label himself as farmer to hide the tax & involve in Panama to hide his excess money...
Salman has saved many lives of parent-less children & needy people by giving free money for their heart or cancer operations...
Nobody deserves it better than him to be a goodwill ambassador
