The only records which Nadal boasts of namely
- most masters titles
- better h2h record against most players
- best career wins percentag

All these records are going to change. Djokovic will beat his masters titles and also have a better h2h soon. Also Borg will remain with the best career win percentage. Then Nadal will be out of the contention for the greatest player of all-time... already he has lost on this to Federer.

I'm happy that my second favorite player, Djoko is achieving what Fed failed to do. Djoko is now 22:23 against Nadal and 21:21 against Fed and is bound to have a superior H2H against them by the time they retire. If he surpasses Fed's 17 GS mark, then he might very well become the greatest tennis player and he has lots of chances of achieving it.

No doubt Djokovic is having the time of his life on court. That speaks of his killer determination, physical fitness level and a game which is so solid on defence not to speak of his return of serves which is probably the best in the game( Though Murray comes close). The issue with Rafa is his straight forward simple game which is built around athleticism. He lacks any strategy or counter strategy against any opponent and relies on his own physical prowess to put the ball back on court, shot after shot.He needs to develop a plan against each opponent beforehand, study their games and play accordingly. I am sure he does bit if that but thats not proving enough. Thats where coaches become more important. This analytics part is their job.But in Rafa's case his uncle is his coach. If he is to get back to his winning ways he has to get some big ticket coach which is what all top players do.Its time for Rafa to take that call.He is still very young and has plenty to show for. His game may be very simplistic but his own will power is legendary. And the fans world over do savour the high voltage moments on court displayed by him so consistently for so many years before this slide began. We all want him bounce back and fast. For the moment Djokovic rules. But fedex continues to delight with his class act.

Nadal, has you have said, has built his game on retrieving and putting the ball in play no matter how difficult the rally becomes. He also relies heavily on the opponent's unforced errors. But with players like Djokovic keep up the attacking game and thats when Nadal cracks down.

Also Nadal at 29, is out of his prime. Federer has evolved his game according to his age and now plays more volleys and aggresively to keep the points short. Edberg has helped him in this regard.

Now time has come for Nadal to also change his coach, who has nothing new to teach him. Many top players have brought in ex-top players as coach and have benefited.... eg. Fed, Djoko, Nishikori, Cilic, Waw, Murray. Now all these players are very much capable of beating Nadal.

Fed has been voted the greatest tennis player by Rediff and many other websites... only Nadal has become a sacrificial goat and is quickly fading out like Roddick and might face the same fate like Hewitt if he prolongs his career.

Nadal was unlucky not to have fading stars like Hewitt and Roddick as opposition during his prime or he might have had 22-24 Slams. Pathetic Fede still managed only 17.

It was Federer who single handedly demolished Hewitt and Roddick in their prime and who quickly faded when out of their prime. Nadal was lucky to have won 9 FO, because there was no clay court specialists to give him stiff competition. Else Nadal would have had just 8 or 9 GS titles not 22-24 like you dream. Even in this present competition Fed is ranked 2nd and Nadal is at 7.

Nadal is lucky to have played in an era where there were no quality clay court players. Else even his masters which he has won 19 of them on clay would be very much less.

Correction. It was not fading stars. Federer's class made them fade. Roger at 34 is doing better than Rafa at 29. At this rate, rafa would announce his retirement before he reaches the age of 34.

Hahaha...Rediff poll...still not given up on that point? Yesterday Rediff online poll voted against allowing Paki cricketers and artists into India. So does that mean we should accept it as gospel truth? If your argument is based on Rediff polls, that means you have no points to argue on.

The kind of form Djoko is in, he should win against Nadal in straight sets. The h2h between these two, which is 23:21 in favour of Nadal is going to be changed in favour of Djoko soon.

I just can't wait for the Serbian eagle to finish off the bunny. The bunny has no where to run and hide... its game is exposed.

Nadal fans who have put their argument that he is a better player because of his h2h record will soon run out of reasons to make in his favor.

Djoko will soon overtake Nadal's masters titles record and also have a better h2h record, then Nadal will be out of the GOAT race.
