Hi sania, It is natural that once you are married people will ask you about the child. You should be proud of it. Anyway, since you are married to another national man, you should be proud to accept his nationality rather than hanging on indian nationality. You are inviting shame to you & your husband. India is a country which has a plenty of talents & if we nurture them in a right way they would make us proud. FYI, records are meant to be broken any day.

That's a strange argument you are making. Does she have no choice in these matters because she is a woman who got married ? That she has to follow her husband's nationality.

Does that argument apply to Mr. Akhtar too; would you welcome him with open arms if he decided to join his wife in being Indian ??

By any chance, do you work for the Pakistan tennis authority ?

Hi Mr. David Jacob,
Sania has one choice, which is to become pakistani. Its her choice. For the sake of Shoaib Malik she must follow his routes, or else she can ask mr. Shoaib Malik to become indian, vice versa... Instead of playing 50-50. I dont have to work for pakistan tennis authority to tell this, its common sense my dear... why are you blocking many youngster's getting sponsorship to play tennis in higher level???

You left out another choice she has, that things continue as they.

I don't have a problem with any of these choices, and it would appear for now- which choice this family has made. There is nothing that requires she "must" follow either of the choices you have "given" her.
