Indians do not have habit of pairing with each other in pro tournaments, they always pair with foreigners. How can anyone expect them gel together as team only at the time of Olympics?? Even Sania mirza has good memories with only Martina Hingis, has she done anything notable with an Indian partner? India had only one pair ever with formidable record- Paes and Bhupathi, but they too fell apart after sometime. Now, even Paes pairs only with foreigners. If he and Sania mirza could have played as a team in pro matches, them they could have become a good team but Indians don't play together, do they??

It is he, who revolted and instigated others to get Paes ousted last time in the doubles as well as Mixed doubles.

Very difficult

Unless you play singles at the top level successfully and break into top 50, you are not likely to win medal. When Leander got it,he was in peak form and in top 100.Now,Leander can not win a doubles event because he is winning only with the help of strong foreign partners. For Sania,it is more difficult. If she has an Indian partner, she will barely move into second round.People like Yuki Bhambri and Somdev can make it in singles, provided they take their game to a higher level. We should encourage our players to be good singles players, first.
