Nadal has reached a stage where he is not in his prime any longer... he has already dropped to No.7 in the ranking and it might not improve much... his game style has got more defensive and he needs to change his coach if he has to do anything about it and prevent his ranking from hitting the rock bottom.
Djokovic might even win the French open and there is no one right now to challenge his No.1 ranking.

but then I must also add that Nadal is nadal, not one of the other fragile players who folds up and quits.Most important thing is that it is not injury, but just confidence and errors issues which are bugging him now.He has good time to make it up.It is not easy to beat him in a three setter in RG.Even the (so called) GOAT lost to him 5 times, and Djokovic 6 times there.It is not over for him anywhere, and certainly not at RG.
