now doubles is more of a fun event internationally as top singles players do not participate. mahesh bhupati has won more than 100 titles. even pakistani players are winning doubles these days.there is so much noise about sania mirza''s victory in doubles in wimbledon. most of these racket are about singles. doubles are added as fun events and to fill up the time and space in a tournament. now leander do not give us that 'i have saved the country smile when u win the next tournament and stop saying -this is for india, this is for her and this is for that etc.etc. we are not fools .keep earningly money quietly. these tournament people earn lot more money from indian companies for ads.
