Stop criticising Sarita
by NIRJHAR MAJUMDAR on Jan 17, 2015 01:22 PM

Milkha, stop criticising her. What can be said from a position of wisdom of 70 or 80 years of age can not be expected from a 20 year old.Try to groom the sportspersons properly,in terms of caliber and behaviour. How many athletes have you groomed,Milkha?

Getting rewards should not be the goal of sportsmen

Getting rewards should not be the goal of sportsmen,

What matters is their passion for the game they play, their love for their excellence in their sport, that is what matters

at last some sane voice, it would hve been dignified if she refused to accept the material with some respect not like a cry baby. Did tendulkar cry when he was wrongly given out when he was at 99.

SARITA DEVI
by vikas garg on Jan 17, 2015 09:19 AM

with due respect I refuse to agree with what Milkha Singh says. Is it ok to accept cheating and dishonesty quietly. Though most of us do that but at least we can support when someone else that too a woman raises her voice

What happened is happened . Saritha was Wrong. It went on repent and Plea from saritha and Tendulkar's highly generous involvement. Indian coaches dont teach this except the skills. I am sure all trainers will now warn the participants of such behaviour and now we become fool proof of such error. Good to India. We should not keep on pulling sarita down specially she is from Manipur so we need to give extra coverage on moral support mental Repairs and take the lesson to all games.
I really accept Milkha that Saina should not bargain awards for her performance. Shame !! Even if Govt does not give public knows how hard a player achieved laurels to India. Bargain awards is like begging. Sorry if I hurt anybody.
Trainers coach should also teach and feed morale along with Induction demo to new players entering the clubs. Tendulkar received more appreciation than Gavaskar and Kapil it does not mean they are Low. They are more honourable and public knows they are pilot runners for the team to develop more learning for the followers.
Shame to ask awards. Sports and Politics are different. Thanks.

Govt. Awards
by Subbachar ramanathan on Jan 16, 2015 09:21 PM

Mr. Milkha Singh what were doing when BR was awarded recently. Probably sleeping, you never never recollected or remembered DhyanChand. It is a pity that you started talking now. It is hypocaracy. Better you keep your mouth shut.
