Absolutely correct. In fact all such persons who had lobbied & got the a(re)ward have only brought shame to this nation & to themselves in particular

Really it is sad affair that not only sports persons but the persons from other fields lobby for award which just have decorative value. Sports persons actually earn more recognition on the sport field. It reminds the visionary PM Morarji Desai who boldly discontinued this award business.

is lobbying for awards only reserved for the rich (finacers/ sponsors) or ones who can Manage (setting masters/ lickers)?
