Before also she gone to media to get 50 lakh from AP government. She is more intrested in Money and awards. One should play for the country and not for money and awards.
You should have just expressed your disappointment and should have left the matter...There is no need for so much talks and expression from your side. For your credits the sport ministry should be shamed not recommending you.
Begging for an award is no achievement. If one does not get award there could be 2 reasons Either one is not good enough in and is not worth awarding. Or one has not bribed the award selection panel. Person receiving award should not have to do either. and should be selected on Merit. Saina not being selected, simply means that she has not achieved that standard yet.

Yup. This is where RTI comes into the picture. All national awards have to be requested to govt. on a proforma, with profile & recommendations by some weighty person.

Latest : Saina has told press that how pleasantly she learnt that she has been recommended for Padmabushan. In the fraternity od Sports where Kalamadi and Srnivasan thrive, she is no exception. She demanded for respect and not earned.
