Sania Mirza's effort is not an individual effort, where as in the case of Saina and others it their individual effort. Sania owes her victory to the well experienced Martina Hingis. I have been watching the tennis fixtures in which Indian players feature and can emphatically say that the contribution to victory in the Sania-Hingia matches, is 70% by Hingis and 30% by Sania

Ms Sania Mirza is an Indian citizen; she has brought glory to the nation as its citizen. Your criticism of hers [obviously on the basis of religion and perhaps marriage] is not only offensive but violative of the fundamental rights conferred under Art 15 of the Constitution on her and other Indians mentioned by you [viz Shah Rukh Khan & Amir Khan] who are Indian Citizens as per Sec 3 of Citizenship Act 1955. All sane Indians are proud that at least the law of the country shows no such bias. Blinded by narrow-minded hatred, people like you are do not even care for the country’s laws!

Agree that Sania is an Indian citizen. But she is being promoted too much by corrupt vested media. She is being used as a symbol of anti Hinduism. Other solo sports people are much better than her.

Had Sania is not acceptable as Indian as to how you could accept the invaders thru Kiber tunnel some thousands of years ago as Indian.
