Yes, In the Past 50 years that was the way Indian women were also once upon a time - But now Time has changed, People's Outlook has changed permanently and Women have changed not only in the Educational Front, Economical front, Skill set, but also in Behaviour as well.

Time Never goes Back and We All need to accept the Cruel Reality & move on.

No use Brooding over The past.

Hormonal side should be checked too, whether male sexist attitudes have a biological function in keeping the males as macho as traditional belief or whether perfectly rational males who consider women equals can also perform identically in aggressive sports like boxing.

Equality is a human concept but whether nature has any use for it needs proof.

Not all the times.
It could be a personal choice, but she should not waste her talent at any cost.

If she is educated & expert in some field, she must explore all the avenues for her career growth using her skills.

For enjoyment the tastes of her own preparations, YES ! She must also prepare some dishes, just to please her own taste & also by the side, her companions pleasure too !

But, definitely, she should not spend all the time in Kitchen to waste her talent all the way.

Some family constraint may make a situation that an educated lady needs to prepare food fo her family & then also is required to rush to her job also.

This does happen everywhere in our country!

We have to manage times in achieving this ordeals.
But, it has to be done in enjoyed way & if it has cooperation from her spouse, then she can definitely enjoy preparing food for family and also attend to her job.

A golden middle is the best option in such cases.

Actually, she should wake up at 4 am, wash clothes, mop the floor, prepare breakfast and lunch for husband and kids and leave the house at 8am

Come back at 6 pm, prepare tea and snacks for husband and kids, cook dinner, serve food, clean the house and sleep at 11 pm.

Thanks

In this debate one of the costs of backwardness of society is that the skills and knowledge of taste and cooking, which is a very difficult one to create through objective scientific methods even today, which are largely transmitted through the females since ancient times, are under threat of getting lost.

Some way should be found to preserve that knowledge while the reservoirs of that knowledge, mainly women are able to be free of inequality.
