When there is the climate of development and skills in our country then why the standard of Indian games and sports will stay backward??? Although sports is a subject of states, still i earnestly request the Union Sports Ministry to do something concrete for the uplift in this arena. It's nice to learn that India is thinking of conducting Olympics in 2024 that requires huge money but what's the practicality if India doesn't stand within first 10, leave first 5, in the medals tally. Please do - 1) Removal of the pathetic condition that prevails in some sports body like Paralympic, Ice-hockey, etc. whereas some sports body like Cricket is flourishing. 2) Bringing private industries to uplift different weak sports body by their active participation as govt. alone can't do everything. 3) Both Greenfield & Brownfield Development of stadiums and other sports facilities all over the country especially in the N-E states either by Govt./Private/PPP. 4) More number of competing participants in the Olympic & Asiad Events. 5) Bringing foreign coach for whichever sports and games as required. 6) Holding games few times in those places where it is not so popular in order to create an encouragement to participate among the people of that place e.g. holding Badminton/Rugby Championship in Arunachal & Manipur; Ice-hockey in Ooty & other hill stations in Southern States.
