Yep....for the betterment of basic amenities in sports n upliftment of player performance levels.....India needs to bid for Olympics...One may argue on Common Wealth games....but Is it not true et India hosts many International crickets games with full success....Events like this ensure proper path for the youth to rise above their barriers n show the wrld wht we r really capable of....at the same time an auditing n vigilance team needs to scrutinize each move of IOA so et Commonwealth is never repeated!!!
Can we invest sincere effort, energy, resources to better our sporting community and decide that we will do everything to get the maximum number of golds in atleast 10 sporting events ?
Yes, we must vouch for it. Unless we tested how can be known for our strength. Having said that, our will to organize to be strengthen and not like CWG. That was an past and History, now we can expect better and need to do the best.
Firstly, if India has so much money to spare to conduct the Olympics, then the money should be utilised for improving the living standards of the poor and needy. Secondly, can the government assure that there will be no corruption and mishandling of so much money?
