If hockey is handled by Indian politics and indian coaches where will team India succeed. worlds best coaches of international calibre like Terry Walslh are thrown out for a raise, the indian officals will be looting the Indian federation office for monev( millions) for & political hold whats the point. team india will loose all its matches while the players will loose confidence.
Its really sad and silly that we can even spend Rs.19lakh to travel to Kuwait for an international tournament and in a cricket crazy nation, aa played gets million of rupees.

In a cricket crazy aian nations the other sports will always languish. Unlike other countries all sports are given good treatment, but in asia cricket is linked to patriotism. no doubt there is hardly any creativity among indians except corruption, poverty etc
For everything dont blame cricket makes money while hockey does not make money, football does not make money, gulli danda does not make money... Before winning the world cup in 1983, cricket too was no better, though played at higher socio-economic level too had their difficulties. If Salman Khan and John Abraham make money, they started from scratch, put in hard-work to sculpt their six-packs before earning money. Its not that they start earning money and because of their cozy life they go to gym and have a good looking body!! I dont think people even know if India as an Ice-hockey team in the first place. Win and keep winning, money and fame will come your way.

Very True. Realistic Analysis. why should corporates or pvt should sponsor ? why will they put their hard earned money which does not fetch any return ?
