Focus on next match- no. 1 rank is no one's permanent property
by sanjay kulkarni on Apr 05, 2015 12:50 PM

In my last week's post, I had written that chinese are not going to keep quite. And it happened. They studied your game and had plan for you. They were aware that you have only slight margin for being no. 1 in rank and you would have been under (at least little) pressure for keeping this rank. so never mind.
The chinese have not gone far ahead of you. The cat and mouse game has started for regaining the no. 1 rank.
Come out of this loss and focus on next match, just think of winning only the next match and dont defocus of thinking winning the titles.
winning each single match will make you winning the title again.
The no. 1 rank has not gone far ahead of you.
This no. 1 rank is no-body's permanent property.
So just keep on winning.
entire nation is already feeling proud of you....
Go Saina go and win the next match...

What next, PAN and Aadhaar cards for the holy cows... May be we can increase our tax base if we we start insisting that cows should file IT returns as well

SHE MUST WORK ON HER MENTAL TOUGHNESS
by damodaran mohan on Apr 04, 2015 06:08 PM  | Hide replies

Saina can take heart from the fact that she put up a tough fight against a higher ranked player as compared to her showing in the All England when she completely surrendered in the 3 rd game. Her problem starts towards end of 2nd game when she is close to wrapping up the match. She is unable to hold her nerves at the sight of the prospects of a championship win. She starts making mistakes and committing unforced errors losing the 2nd game from close to winning the match. In the 3rd game she can't hold her nerves and loses against a tough opponent. She has to pay more attention to her mental toughness for sure. She should practice 'handicap' games more often in her academy trying to pull back from behind in the decider.

Saina has benefitted from moving to Bengaluru
by biswanath roy on Apr 04, 2015 05:11 PM

Saina has benefitted tremendously under coach Vimal Kumar, & due to this had reached World No 1 rankings. She has proved that she is special, & Gopichand should have paid more attention on her, when she was in his Hyderabad academy.
