The judges must be punished
by IK on Oct 23, 2014 09:32 PM  | Hide replies

Instead of suspending Sarita Devi, the corrupt Korean judges must be punished severly. The best punishment for them and Indian team management would be to tie their hands behind their back and Sarita Devi can use them as punching bags.

One thing that Modi Misses
by sameer pandita on Oct 23, 2014 07:17 PM

Modi Misses one thing most of the times is that the IAS services in this country need to be removed .Empower all government services equally or else this country will never progress till the time this british system remains in force .
History is evident that services like railways or ISRO have been successful in this country as they dont have a single IAS officer amongst them .

These people have eaten into the system and India shall continue to be poor and internationally isolated till the time this system is not taken apart systematically .

They don't act till the time the issue is of any interest to them .

Modi ji kuch kijiye empower others to contribute to the development of this country .Dont impose your incapable Bureaucracy on your system . There are much better people than these IAS officers in the system whose initiatives are systematically curbed by these people .Rest is up to you .They have degraded our armed forces as well .Sports is just another aspect .

If you really want to improve this system empower other services and seek advice or else nothing will change sir .
She has been deprived of a medal as the world knows how insipid Indian Bureaucrats are and how poorly they have taken up such cases in the past .So just do away with this so called corrupt elite cadre like you have done away with unnecessary Birthdays of politicians .

Only technocrats can help you deliver on Made in India and not IAS officers so kindly wake up to this need eg ISRO.

Sarita Devi's suspension
by t prasad on Oct 23, 2014 06:52 PM  | Hide replies

This is the worst chapter in the history of India's sports. We have some spineless brutes who are appointed as Sports managers, chairman etc. Had it happened to our criketing hero Tendulkar, then the matter would have been very serious. In this case. it is a lady in Boxing, which is not very much encouraged in our country. There is a fault with Ms Sarita Devi also, that she should not have behaved in this manner, no matter what the circumstance is. It is true she has been overruled and that she felt very much cheated, it is not the way to show one' anger. She could have tackled it in other way, though it may not be wise on me to comment on her agony. Any sportsmen should have sportsmanship, that is lacking in our present sports personnel. Our sports personnel express their anger in the field itself. They care less for the country's prestige and pride. They forget their are fortunate to be representing this country

Everybody in India is reason for this misery....
by ramesh on Oct 23, 2014 05:12 PM  | Hide replies

1.When she was cheated no body protested strongly.
ie our other sports persons, the concerned ministries and our esteemed Govt.
2.The news papers mentioned it (cheating) as just some news. There was no compassion for our Indian sports persons misery. They could have highlighted the issue positively and extensively.
3.Sarita Devi's suspension is also not condemned effectively.
4.Most disgusting thing is that even now, her own people (few Indians) are insulting her. (for eg read some comments written inthis forum)
3.More disgusting now is

Poor Sportsmanship
by Urvashi Seth on Oct 23, 2014 04:35 PM

AIBA has taken exemplary action.Sarita Devi's action was highly immature. It is proper to lodge a protest against the judges but not to insult the Asian Games.Action taken is praiseworthy.

reverse it
by sanjiv shaw on Oct 23, 2014 03:54 PM

you better do it or else ready to face the consequences. Felicitate her and then say to her that this is not how it should be tackled. you people seems to have no idea how you feel when cheated in games. after many years of hard work someone reaches to that level. respect the lady, she deserves it.
