Emotions control
by vishal sharma on Oct 03, 2014 05:56 PM  | Hide replies

One must try to keep emotions under control. Sarita can learn from legend Sachin Tendulkar who was given unfair treatment by umpires uncountable times..

Crying is sign of weakness. World stands with tough people...

Dear Sir, Don,t compare Sarita Devi with Sachin. From day one Sachin got bags of money and recognition. What did Sarita got for herself. I agree that crying is a sign of weakness but how much toil you can expect from a single person who has not been given even decent living. She did not even had 500usd to launch a protest. What else she could do? Whereas Sachin could not refuse bunglow as a RS MP. What contribution did he made to it? What good he has done to the public by opting for RS. Dont steal her right to vent her fealings.

Dear Andy, we did not understand you. Sachin got everyday a match to play whereas Sarita shall get 3 or maximum 5 opportunities to prove her talent.

I agree with Abhiraj. If something happens with Sachin entire media comes to help him even he didn't spoke a single word, while media looks at Sarita devi after she denied to take medal. forget money compare the support and faciltiy given to this players and even though look at what pride they bring to country.

Apology should have come from the actual culprits and not from her. However She had already conveyed the msg to the world that injustice prevails even in a mega event like Asian Games. Sachin was part of a team and was not playing an individual game. More over he got hundreds of matches to prove his caliber and a one off incident is not going to make any impact in his career and She gets only a very few games to play in the international arena within a short span of her career due to the nature of the game she participate. The valiant efforts behind her superb performance went in vain due to poor judgement. If Sachin was in her place as a boxer, he also might have shown his disappointment. She apologized only because of her career ambitions. Nobody can say in such situations even the most matured person is going to behave.

You have already offered unconditional apology for this act that was as unsporting as was the decision against you by umpires. These things do happen in sports & one has to be matured enough to deal with it.

IOA Indian Olympic Association should realize all players of Indian contingent in Asian games are collectively represents India and should therefore back them all when he or she need so. Why should Sarita Devi borrow money in need to protest against injustice to herself by the Officials? Why IOA haven't stand against the injustice just as BCCI used to protest ICC against disorder incident with the Indian Cricket players?

Judges should show impartiality
by Shravan Ruia on Oct 03, 2014 05:51 PM

In this case, unfair benefit has been given to
opponent boxer of Sarita devi otherwise Indian
player would have won the match easily.

Anguish and disappointment of her is well understandable and this unjustice must be
opposed at suitable forum.

Heart goes with Sarita,
