She is being treated badly because she is from North East
by Bhasmasur Rakshasa on Oct 01, 2014 10:33 PM  | Hide replies

I'am not surprised...had some Punjabi athlete done the same, the officials would have made a hue and cry but a poor girl from North east has no sympathies...no wonder China is encouraged to take some parts away from India in the North east.

What n*o*n*s*e*n*s*e.

Such things happen in sports.

For such trivial things you are justifyin chinese incursions, no wonder china is encouraged to do this because of your narrow mindedness and short sightedness.

Most of your people in some NE states sympathize with c*h*u*r*c*h sponsored a*n*t*i India e*x*t*r*e*m*i*s*m in NE
but you want to reap livelihood on booming indian economy and availability of jobs in mumbai, delhi and bangalore.
What makes you guys so special?

Okay, North East has churches and they, according to you, justify Chinese incursions. So Sarita should not be supported!

Respect human initatives, effort and dedication Veena. Sports is about that and not about not about religion! I wonder what crosses your mind while watching a cricket or football match

Show the recorded fight to international judges and then decide who is right. S Korea should be ashamed of such abominable behaviour

Honour Sarita Devi
by SatyanarayanaMoorthy Pamarthy on Oct 01, 2014 08:36 PM

She did the right thing in refusing to accept something which she does not deserve. It showed her spirit and courage. She will accept what she wins and not what they give her.
I feel that our Government should recognize her spirit and honour her suitably. We hope that the Sports Ministry will not call for report from team managers. Since they are at fault, they will naturally find fault with her. Mr. NaMo should look into this and announce suitable award to her.

Sarita did the right thing by refusing the bronze medal. It is her disapproval of the biased decision given by the judges.

When Qatar steeplechase athlete became a victim of wrong decision by officials Qatar officials protested and got her medal reinstated to gold. Two Indian ATHETES suffered because of this.
Our officials did nothing.
Same thing for Sarita Devi
These officials are a useless bunch of Rascals
