THIS IS A RIGHT MESSAGE TO HOST COUNTRIES. IF HOST COUNTRY SPORTSMEN SHOULD ONLY WIN GOLD/SILVER MEDALS, WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF ASIAN/OLYMPIC GAMES...? WHY SHOULD SPEND SO MUCH...? IT IS NOT REGIONAL/NATIONAL SPORTS...! IT IS A LESSON FOR ANY HOSTING COUNTRY..

This is right. This has to be probed by IOA and Indian boxing federation along with Ministry of sports at highest level and should be inquired and re check the bout.
I support Mrs SARITA DEVI for het Act.

Well done Sarita Mam

The officials should be given a good kick and shunted out without any pension for the rest of the life. They have made no contribution what so ever for the betterment of sports in India> Pls kick them

It is unfortunate that Indian sports officials are not appointed on the basis of their talent but due to political and other factors. They absolutely don't care for the interest of sports and the sportsmen.there are always more officials on any foreign tours than sportsmen and this officials enjoy their tour in luxury while the real heroes get the worst facilities.

Saritas behaviour will give wrong signals to the youngsters ?
by P S SHAH on Oct 02, 2014 09:48 AM

What you expect from a young , talented , depressed , frasturated and totally helpless boxer who wrongly and illegally deprived the medal she deserve before the world and not supported by own country's officials who were simply a mute witness during the entire incident ? Did she had no right to protest against total injustice meted out to her ? I had seen the entire fight and was shocked to know the result. If this injustice make me angry, what can be the effect of injustice on Sarita who worked day and night for country's honour ?

We all Indian should stand with Sarita.

She has protested against injustice.

The nationalist government of MODI should give her the benefits and rewards for Silver medal winner of Asiad and strongly protest at IOA.

Let us show spine.

Yes. I fully agree with you. Her talent should be appreciated and recognised with a suitable monetary benefits deserved by a silver medal winner by the government. It will also be better if the government give her full and whole hearted support in her fight against injustice and to see that she is not penalised for her protest and her bright career and future prospects are not spoiled.

Total stupidity
by Deepak A on Oct 02, 2014 09:13 AM  | Hide replies

The more I see such stupidity, the more my respect for Tendulkar grows.
Not once did he protest when he was given out body before wicket to Mc Grath...

Its a sport.. Play so well that your opponents will die of shame if they try to cheat you.

I know it hurts but a true character of a sportsperson comes out only in such times. Move forward...
Use your anger positively to win us a medal in Olympics!!!

Tendi, Dravid you guys are in a different league...

they get crore for 10 days work whether it is win or lose.
u don't know the difference between true sports and fixed matches ?
can you tell the reason why india and pak eliminated in forst round of world cup in windies ?
since the tv rights were sold to rival channel dee gaaang forced the players for below performance from both teams and thus made loss for the channel who got the tv rights.
This is an individual game not a team game.
you and our ioa officials are misguiding others.
