Ms Sarita Devi
by R K on Nov 20, 2014 10:40 AM

In this country all patriots have suffered like her. GOI should have stood by her against the foul play others (foreigners) played against her. Had this happened to some Chinese sportsman, you could see China's reaction. Ms Sarita perhaps was innocent of what patriotism means in this country. Ms Sarita please do not apologise as you have no wrong thing. All countrymen are with you.

Referres were cheats
by anil sood on Nov 20, 2014 09:55 AM

Sarita was definitely the winner in that bout but officials cheated. Let's support Sarita andIndian government take up her issue at the highest level. Rather than referees being pulled up for a sort of match fixing, Sarita is being made to pay for her objection.

Dear Sarita,
You dont possess sportsman spirit. If defeated by whatever means ,you must practice more and defeat them all by winning gold next time.

If you dont win GOLD next time for india then join your baby crying like a baby.

Mind it. Take my words and win GOLD.

Vijay daniel boss, You are behind corrupt officials. Did she beat the gold medallist???? She is trying to get a better slot. Let her prove in next season and we will see your comments. She will probably be out for ever. She is still crying instead of practising for GOLD.

Honour for Match fixing?
by Kundapur Kumar on Nov 19, 2014 11:57 PM

As per the report by TV and other channels it is the clear-cut case of Match fixing and the referee is rewarded from both ends and victim is punished repeatedly. Most concerning fact is that all wise people are silently witnessing these day light murder of justice.Hope Tendulkar's wisdom may prevail on all.

Why has the govt not investigated the reason ...

of her refusing to receive the medal? The bout should be re-examined in detail by experts to see what injustice was done during refereeing. Why is govt not checking on that ?

The Indian government officials usually have a reactive mind or a somatic mind, and they do not have an analytic mind. That is exactly the reason why they react irrationally or just follow a red-tape and no-action approach. They must investigate the relevant carefully and also take rational decision without further victimizing a victim. Sachin Tendulkar has astute common sense and this is clearly manifested in his opinion.
