Nigel short needs to keep his a$$ closed. When carlsen wins, he makes stinging remarks against anand. He needs to remember that he and anand are almost contemporaries, but anand achieved 100 times more than him

Mind boggles as to why Indian indulge, promote and celebrate mediocre aspect of art, sport and other varied aspects. A game played by handful of nations getting top billing, yet someone who has dominated mind game that is universally admired, played and followed is not given long over due recognition.

world don't even know sachin.. remember Sharapova episode.. chess is played in 170 countries.. Anand has revolutionalised chess in india.. his achievement is 10 times more than sachin.. congress govt has the habit of distributing bharat ratna to it's MP.. and thats what they do.. even though committee has decided the award for dhyanchand..

cricket is 'mostly' played by weak sporting nations like india, pakistan, sri-lanka, bangladesh.. so, it's easy to achieve anything in cricket due to lack of competition..

Just look at Vishy record, heas number at 2000, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, and world champion between 2007 to 2012! Let us hope beter sesne prevails in present regime. Long over due (incidentally no comparison with loser "sport" cricket her, no one plays it, and hardly requires brain or braun).
