It’s been seen many times that Rediff does not have an idea of how to show the Tennis scores. Reporting from Serena Williams’ point of view it is wrong to say “…Serena Williams' challenge for a sixth Wimbledon singles title fizzled out with a shock 1-6 6-3, 6-4 defeat by…” The correct way of reporting should be “…a shock 6-1, 3-6, 4-6 defeat by….”.
It would be correct to write something like ……”Cornet defeated Williams by a shock 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 score line…” etc. etc.
It is nice to see some new faces in the Tennis world who could defeat Venus(Not her best) and Serena at best a bit in consistent after total domination for a long time
