"B" HAVE SLIGHT EDGE. BUT PENALTY SHOOTOUTS A POSSIBILI

Either win or go home rounds begin and ironically for the hosts if they lose there is no where to go! Undoubtedly Brazil will be playing under tremendous pressure Thanks to the hype created by the Brazilian football and the govt. they will be playing as if they are defending the title they don’t hold! Chile on the other hand coming from a tough group from which they were not expected to make it to the next round will be full of confidence after beating the world champs and will go all out to play an attacking game they played in the group matches. Even the loss to Netherlands came with two late Goals after 75 minutes . Thus they held on admirably for major part of the game to the deadly attacking duo of Robin-Robben. Given this background it is going to be one of toughest tests for the hosts although they do enjoy psychological advantage of a comparatively superior side not having lost to their neighbor ever before. To that extent Brazil does enjoy slight edge although it is a fresh match and past performances do not count. Brazil although they have not conceded many goals but did look vulnerable in defence in all three matches. Against Cameroon they won 3-1 alright but the Africans were missing their cap Etoo! Needless to say Neymar role will be crucial but Oscar and other forwards will also have to chip in. Somehow after the first game Oscar looks somewhat subdued and it remains to be seen how well the two gel together in front of opponent Goal?

(CONTD.)...All in all it is going to be a virtual “street fight” and whosoever holds the nerves better will come on top. Given this background of pressure game should Brazil lose its slight edge and cave into pressure we can expect couple of defensive lapses and Goals on both sides taking the match to penalty shootouts.

Brazil is a favourable team to win match against Chilli 28.6.2014
by Ramanarao Kallepally on Jun 28, 2014 03:34 PM

Brazil should not take the opponent team so easily (Print this message), might have won several times against Chilli. Brazil Foot ball team must have a good support being the home ground but they should not forget the opponent is a weak team, they should struggle hard, maintain team spirit, good coordination in the ground, do not loose the chances to shoot the goals in the net. Never be nervous, try and try again then only success will be there. Best of Luck to particularly to Neymer who has been proved himself as best shooter of the ball in the net, Time and tide will not wait for none, whosoever will be getting the chance they should utilise the time against they opponent team.
