Maradona a drug addict! Leave him.Biting in a game into any part of the opponent to express qualities of aggression,Anger,Hatred Can never be a gentle man's act although Foot Ball is not a Gentle man's game.If a player misbehave beyond a level of imagination,He should be banned .If one say it is biased, let it be so.By all means His Banning from the game is right,My expectation is to ban him for a life time. These immature players should learn Ethics from Brazilian Players.

Maradonna no doubt was a great player but was total dishonest and didn't admit that he made a goal with ball touches his hand in important World Cup match. He was involved in drug and spent enough time in rehabilitation centre. Such person don't deserve to pass any comment and defence the person like Suarez who is a habitual offender .

One Cheat to Another

This is Not surprising, knowing that Maradona, though highly skillful and admirable, was one of the greatest cheats in the history of the game. His free-kick earning technique was unparallelled in the annals of football. He could collapse after being air bound without a feather having touched him.

suarez

im with suarez too. not much of a bite, cant compare with tysons bite of holyfield in which he took part of ear off.
suarez should have been fined and allowed to play on. fine of something like $20000-$30,000 should be enough (money payble to the italian chellini)
uruguay qualified for 2nd round so suarez should have been allowed. its 4yr contest not once a year. the ban is too heavy.
also many tackles are much worse than a bite

Ban is totally justified in his case. He is a repeat offender. Biting seems to be his favorite act. Let this forced rest make him realize opponents shoulder is not pizza.

how can you bite a player and expect mercy? this means all football players should kick, bite, eat, and do whatever they want? maradona is already the ost controversial football player and he should not be considered favourably

It's ridiculous to see a legend like Maradona supporting Suarez . According to him biting is no offence Suarez should go scotfree, what a hapless way for the master to defend.

watch that video again, the shoulder was stuck to his mouth deliberately so that it looked like a biting act!

Maradonna might be a great player once. But He is not an impartial person to support for the cause of Justice and Ethics in game.

It deserves a Red Card, not a harsh punishment that FIFA gave. For Suaraz, his natural instinct was his teeth, unlike others who got away even for kicking. As Maradona pointed out he has not done a crime - right?

If He is allowed,He may end up killing any player(Not a wild imagination). If he kills anybody,It will not be surprising if Mr Maradona supports his act.
