The Refreeing mostly seems to be substandard and biased

in this WC.
The bias seems to be more against the non-white or Third World countries...
I have just been watching this WC about 30-40% of the time, but this is my observation.

I think its time to introduce Third Referee (in line with Third Umpires in Cricket) to stop the vested interests of the (White) referees...

It is very clear that all great players need not be good human beings too. It is evident in every sports and games. Very few can manage being a great player and human being too

World cup for whom
by Soumitra Goswami on Jun 25, 2014 09:54 AM

This world cup is not for Brazilian people, not for players and now it is only appearing for FIFA. The referees are so liberal in showing cards that the charm of football is lost. All drama, catching, snatching are uncontrolled but some heat of the moments rashness is being penalised. Some of them are really silly. If they really want to stop rough game the decisions should be taken based on replays either during i.e. for showing red card , penalty or after match replays so that players know they will not escape even if they escape referee's eye during match viz. what Suarez has done. All games are run by mafias and evident form BCCI and so nothing constructive is expected from these sport bodies. We are also passing time watching games and hence no right to speak.

Suarez bite once again
by P S SHAH on Jun 25, 2014 09:47 AM  | Hide replies

Lois Suarez is not involved in such incident for the first time and such habitual offender should not be allowed to go away without any serious penal actions against him. He should be banned for life for such behaviour. I really surprise at the behaviour of referee who inspite of drawing attention by the victim about the bite mark on his shoulder preferred to turn a blind eye and did not took any action he was supposed to take.
