Germany is one of the Best Team in the World.
I live in Germany and i´m proud of these young Boys how they played, OK the Decission by the Referee was´nt correct everytime, but i´m still happy with the Match and also with the Result, i hope that Portugal will qualify for the Knockout.

Defender had d ball & he cleared it and in d process German went down. However red card was fully justified Dere was no need of pepe to go slow close to d player

Referee did well
by Shano Kumne on Jun 17, 2014 12:45 PM  | Hide replies

Having closely watch the replay of awarding red card in yesterday's match, I appreciate the decision of the referee. The saying that 'the referee helped Germany team' is not true.

I totally agree with you..the way PEPE behaved should be condemned. there is no place for such behavior in international soccer

Referee was biased towards Germany
by Haridasan pisharathparambil on Jun 17, 2014 12:23 PM

Well played by Germany but the Referee helped them a lot. When a German player was tackled in D area Germany got a Penalty shot at the same time a Portugal player was thrashed at the same place at Germany's goal post, they did not get a penalty though Ronaldo and his team mates arguedwith Referee. Lot of Portugal players have been fouled by Germans but Referee did not see at all. So What's this.. Portugal lost their momentum.

After watching last n this World Cup (so far).....
by Pat Thakur on Jun 17, 2014 11:45 AM

Some truths have come to the fore. Many players like Ronaldo, Messi etc. are just hyped puppets. They perform well on regional or club levels. But when it comes to Football's biggest stage, they flop miserably n become lame ducks. They lack the true genius of Maradonna or Lineker or Gullit or Platini etc.

& btw, yesterday's Portugal defeat was somewhat expected, though a 4 goal margin was exaggerated due to their 10 payer status. But again, it was their own undoing. Not for nothing are the Germans nicknamed "Tireless Power Machines." They're automatic favourites in any World up.
