The hosts got the type of start--albeit lucky, they were looking for. Dilma Rousseff is safe for time being at least because it remains to be seen how the people react should Brazil lose ! Best part of the win was the star, Neymar delivered and how ! His brace of goals could make him contender for golden boot should Brazil go till end ! Oscar’s solo run to finish into that superb Goal to seal the win in the dying moments will be etched in memory too for long time. Actually the match was much closer than what the final score line suggest .The Croats seemed to have got rattled by the controversial penalty and it certainly helped Brazil get the upper hand the way they increased the attack on a somewhat demoralized looking opponents. Was the penalty justified ? The referee might be right but it remains to be seen if in future we see such cases of penalty ! However the samba boys were distinctly superior side with sharper attack and much better defense although they will have to play much better game against a stronger side. On the other hand Croatia ,to the credit they didn’t give up and were successful in counter attacks and shots in the goal which were saved by the goalkeeper. They have proved they are no push over and still stand a chance of making into the play-offs.

Don't forget, all the 4 goals in the match was scored by Brazilians.. then how come you are justifying 1:1 scoreline..

Agrre Rohit.Superb play by Oscar.But overall Brazil palyed a good game.I think there combination is good.But Fred looks very shaky.
