2nd set was turning point

King Nadal turning the match in his favor when he exploited error prone Djokovich and broke him and too the set and never looked back from there, establishing himself once again as KING OF CLAY

Nadal solved Djokers cross court BH with a down the line forehand thumped into the open court for winners or forced errors "in this match" and even last years US Open.

Djoker needs a new formula - and I am not sure he has it. With 11 aces he served awfully well though..... If not for that fast and well placed first serve Djoker would have been absolutely routined.

Once the rallies started in neutral position - Nadal was better.

Both played some incredible defense.

Ironically, Rafa was better on shorter rallies as compared to Djokovic. Surely Rafa has handled Djokovic better than he did in 2011.

9765 update
by anurag rathor on Jun 08, 2014 11:06 PM

The well established 9765 scale has proved that Nadal is already the greatest of all time in tennis. With his best already behind him,Federer has no chance of catching up.

7543 update
by NashikMarathi on Jun 08, 2014 10:56 PM  | Hide replies

The established 7543 scale with 7 pts for Wimby (the oldest and most prestigious slam), 5 pts for US Open ( the second oldest slam), 4 from French and 3 for Aussie Open.

Fed - 7x7 plus 5x5 plus 4x1 plus 3x4 = 90 pts
Sampras - 7x7 plus 5x5 plus 3x2 = 80 pts
Nadal - 7x2 plus 5x2 plus 4x9 plus 3x1 = 63 pts
Borg - 7x5 plus 4x6 = 59 pts

Nads still in the Borg level, still far from the elite Fed and Sampras levels. Will be hard to get there.

The 7543 scale is not established.it is the 9765 scale which is established and that places Federer behind Nadal,Borg and Sampras.

If oldest is the criteria then Olympics are from 8th century BC then going by the same criteria we can easily allocate around 40 to 50 points then Nadal stands far ahead

Well said NashikMarathi.... there is no need to stress that Fede is the greatest.. he has been accepted as the greatest of all time by the recently conducted rediff poll.

Lets see another poll coming up after few years and lets see if Rafa wins in that. I dont think he will win even then.

I agree - the 7543 scale proves it for Roger. There is no doubt Nadal is good on clay.

When did I ever say Nadal would NOT win or predict who would win for this French tourney or any other tourney?

It was obvious Nadal was scared and nervous facing Djoker - he hardly played his incredible level on clay. Trouble was Djoke returned the compliment and did not play well either. I did not expect this from Djoke.
