hes not as good as maradona who can inspire and also singlehandedly do the scoring. maradona is playmaker and scorer..messi is scorer (much better scorer than maradona) in the tough games,maradona somehow managed some magic to setup goals. im still checking out the maradona wcup goals on youtube. many of them are genius. in my reckoning maradona is 50% better than messi and 100% better than most of top footballers especially in world cup
