England, Canada and Australia are 40-50 times more richer than India.

They have lot better infrastructure, better funds for athletes, higher per capita which allows people to take up sports, better health care. All these things count.

India is ranked 123/ 185 countries in GDP per capita. It is doing very well in CWG notwithstanding.
