A true question. Can she do it??? No doubt she had brought glory in tennis, She had been a trend settler for women sports.. But brand ambassador... why get into rotting politic?? She should have declined politely. If you are in such trade naturally questions will arise. So be away pl.
Just forget these guys, what ever you do or say they will never understand they are dumb heads. When the cap suits them they will wear it. However much any one may try to convince them they will only consider themselves rightx5pzh
I personally feel the Telangana state should have found someone less controversial and more liked to be an ambassador for it.
In India, you do not get to marry a Pakistani and still be loved. I do not find too much wrong with what the BJP Leader Laxman said. If he were not a BJP leader and a politician, he'd have had a lot more support for what he said.
Plus, I doubt Sania can even speak Telugu - or wants to learn. How can she be called a Telangana ambassador when she cannot speak the language of the state? And she'll forever have her baggage preceding her - it's a pointless and wholly avoidable distraction for the state she is supposedly representing.
It's possible to stay away from controversy - see Saina Nehwal. Sania wanted to be Sania, and did not care about making compromises to be universally admired. The chickens have come home to roost now.

If Sonia Gandhi is an Indian, Sania Mirza is a Pakistani. If Sonia Gandhi is an Itlian, Sania Mirza is definitely an Indian.

@ Sunil Vaidya; plz enlighten us by naming a few contributions by Sania Mirza to our country. She may have contributed immensely to P akis tan, but that's a different issue.
here the fact is why she is choosen brand ambassoder for telangana when you have likes of saina nehwal rank 3rd in world batmanton and recently won all england batmanton champion and you have laxman , mukeshkumar from the same region.
secondly 1.local TRS govt issued 12%reservation to muslims which no other state issued so far. 2. recetly TRS issue 20 cr packagage for ramzan,considering 20 lakh package for state festival 3.giving sania brand ambassador status especially TRS hasnt won a single seat from hyd where huge muslim popuation exsits..raise quwartionas

Dear chinna 12% reservaton is just a proposal, for one year they observe it. If it can be implemented. But trust me, it can not be implemented. It will cross the limits set by our dastoor. Secondly I am surprized to hear the 20cr package, kindly let me know to whom TRS gave this?
U r just more than true politician. Issue raised by mr laxman is not about indianness. He was asking telangana govt about local or non local issue raked up by trs govt to isolate andhra people from telangana. You have fallen into their trap. If you are true indian u could have rejected brand ambassador of telangana govt which 8s acting like sectarian govt
Dear Sania if you u are a good person donate all the money to the bus tragedy victims relatives, not only that the money you earn donate 50 percent of it to poor children and women. Be a good human being sure nobody will question your nationality.
