Bold decision..

Beside Cricket.. Be it be football or any other sport one thing is for sure that in India nothing will change unless we change our mindset. There is no "intent" among the politicians, sports associates at any level. We are best in identify the opportunity where we could sniff some chance of having ghotala..(Scam). I am sure even bringing world class coaches from abroad or developing state of art facility one would first think of possibility of minting money for himself.. Like I have said the attitude and "intent" is missing.

going with a high!. Club football is less tension more money. ALso he has served his nation for more than a decade and in 3 world cups, with the latest cup expedition as a winning captain. What more can Germany ask from him? Better to go with high success rather than stay for the next world cup ( and who knows the same german people may boo him then if he is not successful). Wise decision.

India cannot achieve success with coaching.India needs a pool of 5000 young boys & girls in the age of 9-10 who first have to be strong and well nourished. Then these kids need to be drafted under various coaches of different disciplines for rigorous training for 6-7 years.

That is how China does.

Feed em good meat, eggs, milk and a lot of greens. Coach Klinsmann put em on Yoga and other injury prevention routines...

We need to start young... Invite coaches from Portugal, Spain and Brazil that have good youth programs.. They may be more affordable
