If its fortunes depend on just one single player, as being touted, then the team is really shaky, vulnerable.
Compare it to Germany who got atleast 2-3 players semi injured players in the lineup, and at just 60-70% and still looking dominant. Not to mention 1-2 first choice players will be sitting out duoe to injuries/ penalties.
That Brazil has made it to the WC semis is not news but that Brazil is virtually out of WC due to Neymar's injury is being trotted out as bigger news by Brazilian football! Yes Neymar indeed was crucial for Brazil to have any chance but the question is if even with Neymar’s presence in the team Brazil were good enough to overcome Germany in the semis ? Or a case is being made out for Brazil to escape wrath of its supporters at home for the match against a much stronger Germany against whom they don’t stand much of a chance even otherwise! Is the Colombian fouler a villain or in reality deserves a big thank you from the Brazilian establishment ? Further, when was Brazil seen going that “physical” as seen on the day !In fact the Samba boys are known for playing ‘beautiful’ game and score goals w/o rough tackle or touching of the opponents ! How does one explain the Cap Thiago Silva’s Foolish charging of the GK to attract suspension from the semis? Was he not aware of the consequences of his actions ? Isn’t it also the case that the Brazilians have had relatively easy rounds to meet a ‘Giant’ side Germany only at the semis stage !Compare the course of other semifinalists all of whom had to contend with at least one big rival on the way to the semis!Germany had to overcome France ..Portugal..,Ducth had to beat defending Champs Spain…., ARG had to go past Switzerland,Belgium.., Costa Rica had to contend with 3

(contd.)...with 3 former WC champs in Gp of death in Italy,England and Urugauay and then went out losing to the mighty Dutch ! One wonders if conditions are being created for making things easier and convenient by design for the host nation?
Neymer is one of the best player of brazil but brazil is play. As team. There is all changes that brazil can lift the cup and they will give best give to there country

A deliberate foul by Juan Zuniga to take revenge of his team's loss by hitting one of the greatest football star.He has vented out his frustration. Surprised to see that Juan Zuniga has escaped punishment...
FIFA needs to come down hard on rough tackles as the one that injured Neymar. The opponents just go to any lengths to stop top players like Messi, Neymar, Ronaldo, etc. The game needs to be cleaned up if its popularity to be maintained or raised.
These Football players are such delicate darlings!
Anytime they are tripped or pushed, they starting crying like 3 year old girls!
Neymar's injury looks fake like Tendulkar's talent!
The fact is that the pressure to deliver got the better of him and that is why he exploited this opportunity to quit under the excuse of a fake spinal injury!
This bad development seems to be the curse of Brazil football legend Garrincha who never got egolised by his nation for his 58/62/70 world cup contribution.
