The way he was behaving in the post match ceremony looking stunned and dejected as if he cant take this defeat at any cost, the tendency to fake injuries... the loooong time to serve... The grunts between critical points of the match... All suggest that he is suffering from a serious illness....
He seems to be undergoing a "Defeat" fear psychosis...

Forget Nadal ,he can take care of himself. But you need to seek treatment for your serious delusional retardation.

Great to see Stan win the Australian Open. He deserved the victory. As usual Nadal has some injury when he knows he will not win.Knees, blisters, back some excuse. Congrats Stan.

Knees ,blisters and back apart ,he is still world no.1 and 13 time grand slam winner.Whats your claim to fame apart from writing drivel here,Ranjini?

He maybe no.1 but he has the habit of faking injuries, time wasting tactics making players wait for the toss.
Fearless display.Congratulations Stan for winning your first slam and breaking the monopoly of the big 3 Djoko ,Nadal and Murray. All credit to Nadal for not withdrawing and in fact taking a set off such a rampaging Stan. The tour should get more exciting now.
May be he was writhing in pain, but truly Nadal when he can't win, has always made it a habit of belittling the true winner by making injury a point in front of the world....now he will disappear for the medicine overdose to come back & win French Open...what a farce

If he is not injured, he might have fought back and tried his best. See that he took the third set eventhough he is having a back injury. He has beaten Warwrinka more than 10 times that too without loosing a set. Have you saw the match between the great Federer and nadal. He has beaten him ruthlessly. I think only because of his injury he could not move around the court as he usually does. He was out of majors for more than ten months I think. So, don't blame the great player.
Nadal Denied Federer his 14th title on 1 Feb 2009 at SAME Venue ( AO Open ). Now another swiss --(wawrinka) has denied Nadal HIS 14th Title at SAME Venue. Co-incidence or REVERSE/Revenge by destiney ? ?
Wawrinka was a regular participant in the Chennai Open, the only ATP event India holds. Now since Wawrinka has won the Australian Open it can be expected that he will not attend Chennai Open next year as the prize money is a pittance.
