Like Raja Sen...Schumacher was the reason I became an avid F1 fan...what set him apart was his sheer brilliance n raw pace n indomitable guts...just like Becker made a lot of heart beat for Tennis Micheal did that for F1 in a lot of nations where F1 wasn't high up in the pecking order as far as sports was concerned...I was fortunate to watch him live twice thanks to Indian Grand Prix..the first time I saw at top a vintage car during the drivers parade gave me the fulfillment & joy which probably unparalled..Get Well soon Micheal!!! you were & you are the best !!!

Being an avid Michael fan, and having been inclined and devoted to the sport only for Michael. It has been the saddest days of my time since the news of his accident broke. it has been tough to sleep. upon that the painstaking wait for one hint of good news, is all what i have yearning for, since sunday. as you rightly mentioned, checking for updates every half hour, only to see different channel and sites, repeating the same news over and over again, with different headlines, has made me even more nervous and worried. Waking up in the middle of the night to just check on the news has become the order of the day. It may seem perplexing to most, but a like minded fan, will sure understand. I dont have words to express my grief over what has transpired. Just hoping, that i get the news of "Michael is ok and conscious" thanks Raja for the write up you really touched my heart and echoed, my feeling in more than once. thanks
