Giving the historic gold medal winner in skating,a SUV is like throwing peanuts at her. If Adelina Sotnikova was in U.S.A. she would have gotten endorsements,commecials and advertisements, modelling worth millions of dollars from private companies. There is plenty of money in Russia now. I hope Russians private industry follow USA in supporting their athletes.
I bet most of these atheletes will become high class escorts in US. Having lived in Russia for 2 yrs I can say its a terrible country to live and all russians want to go to US. Russia is most racist country

on what basis they want to go to usa? USA has high crime rate and some of its states have severe high crime rates with drugs problem.
IPL scam, Common wealth games scam, Debarred from olympics, Comments, You only take care of what you should do leave the rest. Instead of helping athletics the politicians help themselves. Every time there is a sporting event a village comes up, and then it is gone. Then after 4 years there is another village. Corruption olympics and Indian politicians will hnads down
We should also have an article explaining how India humiliates its athletes who have won accolades for the country. But what to do, all the money in our country goes to our corrupt, illiterate, idiot and worthless politicians (ALL of them are the same).
