Olympic logo- five rings in front of the Indian Olympic Association Building in New Delhi- A few days back,I saw in one of the TV channels,only FOUR rings was there in its front view of that building.I do not know whether it has been corrected. If done we can congratulate & if not done so far - what to say ?- It may be a small matter but is it not a blunder.
How many gold,no, medals India is expected to win @ the Sochi Winter Olympics 2014. Why does India participate in such events when her participants finish second last or third last? Hardly any Asian nation(China,Japan,Korea) gets medals in this event, an event dominated by Nordic nations,Germany,Austria,Canada,Russia,& USA. Even big sporting nations like Australia, GBR fail to be on the medals table. Kenya,Ethopia, SA, Brazil, big players in Summer Olympics, do not participate in this event, as they stand no chance. Therefore India whether it participates under the Olympic flag or under the Indian tricolour stands no chance to see the tricolour flutter during medal distribution.
