Carlsen is a great player. Vishy is perhaps the only one
by Talisman on Dec 23, 2014 08:45 PM

That can realistically challenge him and take away his crown - as his knowledge of the game is unmatched. The first match at chennai does not count - as Vishy was sleep walking thru the match and let what others said about Carlsen's greatness affect his game.

In the last matchup in Sochi, vishy was great eventhough ther are people with age bias against him , ther were many who loved him. Vishy rattled Carlsen in game 3 and Carlsen's tactical team was much superior and somehow plotted a way for him to get thru 4, 5 , 6 and 7. Vishy the king needs to assemble a better tactical team next time for a chance to win!

For all Carlsen supporters

It is true that Vishy is old and may not be able to beat Carlsen but to all those who think that Magnus Carlsen is a great chess player, you are wrong. He does not use his brains to win but his stamina to keep playing for hours together and physically tire out his opponent. So far there is no game of Carlsen you can call great. He never wins due to quality of his game. This was the reason they used to have adjournments in the past.

carlsen is only player who can play unprepared.
anand relies totally on preparation. thats why he failed to convert opportunities.

The problem with your statement is that you have given no reason why he cannot beat carlsen.

It is not like Carlsen won hands down or anything!

You currently just don't have the quality to win against Magnus. Better let someone else with a refreshing mindset try. Take some time off.

Well, if you think taking time off is equivalent to quitting, you are missing out on something important.

Wow. How many times did you compete in world campionships to make a comment like that prerit? Did you even compete in the gully chess tournament in your neighbourhood and win?
What arrogance?

Nothing to do with my arrogance. Your comment is absurd and pointless.
