Sure AIBA

None of these rants will be of any avail! Sue AIBA. That is the only language they will understand. The IOA needs to come out of its second class citizen attitude and take the bull by the horn while simultaneously offering full official support to this unfortunate beleaguered athlete. Just look at how the cricketing world now subserviates to BICC. That is how you change attitude, by creating awe!

AIBA ban on Sarita devi
by neel makhija on Dec 17, 2014 03:52 PM

What a shame on part of AIBA that they not only grabbed a medal from Sarita devi,an athlete but penalised her for protesting a wrong decision. The referee should have been punished for the error. They should have appreciated Sarita Devi for challenging misjudgement of referee and his bad decision.Had AIBA favoured Sarita devi for her decision to dissent the award the moral of athletes would have gone up for fair play and referees would hve given right decisions at all platforms. Now Referees can go scotfree for their bad decisions.

THUMBS DOWN TO AIBA.

The Bastards Officials of AIBA
by amrendra singh on Dec 17, 2014 01:54 PM

This shows the high headness of AIBA officials who are not ready to accept their fault. Instead of punishing the refree for wrong decisions, they have penalized Ms. Sarita Devi for raising her voice for the wrong doings during the match. By this action they want to crub the voice of all the people who were witness to the wrong decisions by the refree's. We know that India will not be able to take any tough decision or do anything in this matter as non of the International Body gives a damn to Indian people or officials.

Banning Sarita - A very unsporting move by the sports body
by Raj A on Dec 17, 2014 12:49 PM

What was the mistake she committed? Venting her despair on stage? What are we complaining the way she expressed it? what she did?
In a match which was judged so very badly, ( seen across the globe by thousands of boxers and enthusiasts) did the world body take any action? Was those judges banned? Is the sports body ready to accept the responsiblity for appointing such incompetent judges? It is time that the real sportsmen and women unite against this sports body. We need to do something at this blatant violation!. We need to do something. Can any of the influential sportsperson take the initiative? Please.
