Diplomats
by Vinod Vij on Aug 04, 2014 11:07 PM

As a diplomat and rep of Ur country abroad one is expected to have exemplary behaviour and conduct. Even not held guilty, still there is suspicion that these two officials have been fooling around and have tarnished our image and that too in a sporting event. Shameful

confused with the reason "lack of evidence" for Drunk & Driving (DD) case. It is understandable in case of sexual assault but how could it be the case for DD? In the US the police record everything that happens on road when they interject any car. Especially when an arrest is made all the evidences are properly collected and produced. Not sure how it is in scotland, but it is still very hard to believe that they did not have any evidence on DD. May be some levers through official channel has worked. It is understandable as these unfits (if they indeed are the culprits as charged) have nevertheless were official representatives of India. So to that level it is acceptable but strict actions like kicking them out of job should be taken if prelim investigation have proved them guilty. Enough of all such hooliganism.

Charges Dropped on Indian Officials in U.K.
by pa siramu on Aug 04, 2014 10:30 PM  | Hide replies

Indian diplomacy might have won over dropping the charges on Indian officials. But, what happens for Indian Prestige outside the country !The damage cannot be erased, even though they were saved from punishment.
