Proud of you Lea!
by Niranjana R on Jan 27, 2014 01:23 PM

He is one player whose commitments to national duties is unquestionable. He wore national pride on his sleeve. Has he got Khel Ratna? He deserves it more than any other sportsperson in India. Like me there are lakhs who are proud of you and will always be proud of you Lea. May all your wishes come true

40-love: A decision that redefined Leander Paes' career
by Anand YNI on Jan 26, 2014 10:09 PM

For all his effort, he was rewarded with a measly "Padma Bhushan".

He is one sportsman who truly deserves "Bharat Rathna".

Congratulations, Leander! You have been the most inspiring sportsperson of our generation. Would love to see you win a slam at 50! Now that would be more than awesome.

Yes. Hearty Congratulations! The fact is that he really went beyond his limits when he played for India, whereas the others only played for themselves! All the best, Leander, and keep India's flag flying.
